Description
Progressive Poster from the London County Council Elections of 1907. The main feature of this painted poster is a fox with a human head (apparently of the Duke of Norfolk) wearing the robes of Royalty, stood on a pulpit, preaching to a crowd of geese. On the wall behind the central figure is a sign reading, 'Down with the Progressives. Monopolies forever'. His pulpit is marked 'Municipal Reform League' and behind/below him are two large sacks marked 'Unearned Uncrement' and 'Ground Rents'.
